Hood

The part is 3D printed out of TPU. The walls are thick and strong (the external diameter Ø is 32.6mm).
Partially flexible so the hood can be easily slid over the OPSIN but tough enough so you’ll not lose it.

Allows focus adjustment. The Aspis features a double notch so you can index the desired focus position.

Shield

Option 1 - 4mm PLEXIGLAS®

Choose this option for basic protection.

Clarity test

The 4mm PLEXIGLAS® is guaranteed to retain light transmission of up to 90%.

Impact test

The 4mm PLEXIGLAS® is strong enough that it resisted multiple impacts of a 0.20 grams BBs traveling at 90 m/s (~1 joule).

Option 2 - Aveo ExtraClear lenses

Choose this lens instead of the PLEXIGLAS® if your use-case requires less impact protection.

The Aveo Extra Clear lens has multiple anti-reflection and hydrophobic coatings.

• The lens has better dirt and water repellant properties
• The lens is easier to clean
• The lens remains clean and clear for a longer period of time

• The lens offers LESS impact protection and MORE scratch resistance.
• The lens will act as a sacrificial shield upon impacts and will crack on 1J 6mm BB hits.
