The part is 3D printed out of flexibile TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) and locks on the body of the Red Dot via an inside notch.
Easy slip in/out, mounting/unmounting.
Clarity test
The 4mm PLEXIGLAS® does not interfere with the device capabilities.
Impact test
The 4mm PLEXIGLAS® is strong enough to act as a sacrificial lens protector. The shield was tested against a 0.28g airsoft BB travelling at 90m/s.
